OBMBC has celebrated the annual thanksgiving service with grateful hearts. People give thanks to God for His goodness, mercy and grace. Especially, in time of sorrow, hardship and turmoil that people face daily in their lives; some of them they have lost their love ones recently, other had lost their jobs, while the land of Burma is filled with civil wars and ethnic refugees. How could one give thanks for such a time of sorrow and pain? One thing for sure, Christians give thanks to God not for their good experiences but for the goodness of God. The Bible says, "Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever." (Ps.106:1). The Lord is good indeed.
Youth and Young Adults have performed lively praise dances and challenged the worshipers to be thankful for the people that surround them. People thankful for their loved ones as they praise and give thanks to their Savior. Let the people give praise and thanks to their eternal God!
